The Madison River flows North from Yellowstone National Park where it joins the Gallatin and Jefferson Rivers to form the headwaters of the Missouri River. The Upper Madison River is known as the 50 mile riffle due to its shallow and fast flowing currents. The river flows through the beautiful Madison valley with majestic high mountain scenery in every direction. With its many large boulders and its continuous riffle, the Madison River is perfect for the dry fly and the streamer fisherman alike.
